Out of Your Dream

Asilomar Conference Grounds
Pacific Grove, CA
A 5-day silent retreat with Adyashanti

"You are pure consciousness, already free, awake and liberated. Stand up and walk out of your dream. I am here to say you can do this."

"There is nothing to seek -- just accept what is."

"The path to Enlightenment is through Samsāra."

"Spirituality and religion are rubbish. Live your own heart, find your own way through the universe."

"Enlightenment is seeing without ego. The ego tries to control everything. Give up - let it flow with the greater power -- the Void/Oneness/God is more intelligent than we are. The world is damaged by all the egos trying to change it and control it."

  1. Saṃsāra (संसार), a Sanskrit and Pāli term which translates as "continuous movement" or "continuous flowing", refers in Buddhism to the concept of a cycle of birth (jāti) and consequent decay and death (jarāmaraṇa), in which all beings in the universe participate and which can only be escaped through enlightenment. Saṃsāra is associated with suffering and is generally considered the antithesis of nirvāṇa or nibbāna. There are several Chinese translations, including 生死 (shēngsǐ, "life-death"), 輪迴 (lúnhuí, "wheel turning"), and 流轉 (liúzhuǎn, "wandering"); Tibetan is འཁོར་བ་ 'khor ba; Mongolian: orchilong. - from Wikipedia
